The special customer open day expo for Vermont Sales was once again attended by record crowds with an increased range of new product additions, which now consist of over 50 specialist ranges. The dynamic Vermont Sales team were on hand, alongside various brand representatives from overseas. Roland Hunt, company founder said, “With a host of new products coming to market, it has become vital to update our clients and our staff to understand what is on offer in each of our brands, and to keep them up to date with the technical advancements.” Dealers were also seen from Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe at the event.
Ryan Hunt, sales director for Vermont Sales, has just returned from a special Tool Exposition held in Germany. Ryan said that it is a key part of their philosophy to bring back to the local market the very best tools and health and safety equipment. For example the Alpen drill bits from Austria were a particularly successful range this past year, along with Bessey Germany, who also supply excellent after sales training service.
Torkcraft has grown exponentially in the last decade. Vermont Sales has put major effort into marketing Tork Craft Brand to hardware, wood finish, mechanical and contractor markets across the country.
Ernest Pfender, area sales manager for Festool, was delighted with the progress of the comprehensive range along with their continued upward trend in sales. Mindi Hunt says that the philosophy followed on their entire product range of supplying tested quality products with a set of old fashioned values of service and back-up has paid many dividends with excellent growth across their important product range.
The event was given a boost by the many live demonstrations to be seen by the over 1000 customers who came to see all that was new at the Vermont Sales customer day in Midrand.
