Such is the success of the Vermont Sales customer and product show case expo that by 10am on the first day, no less than 500 invited guests and attendees were already registered and inside the company’s huge warehouse and viewing company brands that Vermont Sales are the sole importer of, and with the company’s expansion continuing to forge ahead across Africa.
No less than 60 unique brands, and in some cases with international technical staff on hand, to show the cost savings of some 20 000 line items that Vermont Sales hold stock of, sell and give technical back-up for. Ryan Hunt is upbeat about Vermont Sales’ success as the family owned operatiion continues in a difficult market to enjoy ongoing success.
Dealers from the automotive, industrial and DIY hardware sectors arrived by the dozen from places as far away as Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, to name a few for the three day expo held in Midrand. Many international tools were on view from the recent German tool exposition and Automechanika, recently held in Europe.
With powerful brands like Bessey, Festool, RAWL, ALPEN and Fixman, backing up the huge success of their own labels of Aircraft and Tork Craft, there is no shortage of product innovation at the Vermont Sales products on parade.
Company founder Roland Hunt and his wife Mindi are also in the marketing mix and have driven the company objectives for over thirty years by supplying a philosophy of dealing only in products that are known, tried and tested and that they will hold up in the daily chores of any workshop.
The festival has been backed for many years by the catering of Bon Cuisine, and as always has a fully stocked bar to keep visitors in a happy state of mind. Such is the success of it all that nearly 1500 visitors to the Midrand venue should ensure another great Vermont Sales success in customer assistance and relationship building.
