What, where and how much? South Africa has been experiencing several price hikes for fuel over the last few months and the next few months are unlikely to be any different.
The fuel cost of getting staff to work, making collection and delivery, and to keep going during loadshedding, is a serious business challenge and threat to our livelihood. To date the business and private consumer had superficial insight and no control over any aspect of a tightly controlled system. We the people, demand that the spotlight that currently shines bright on deregulation and re-evaluation of the Fuel Pricing Structure will burn till something turns.
South Africans are resilient innovators and plan-makers, utilising the experience gained from developing and management of the Panelbeaters Director, the Fuel Directory assist business owners and staff to maximise cost saving on fuel purchase and profit from fuel reward programmes.
Fuel zone pricing per town and city – why is this important?
93 Octane Petrol Price De-Regulates: from 1 July 2022, fuel stations will be able to sell 93 Octane petrol at a reduced price. Consumers will have a choice amongst competing brands everywhere, whilst being protected by a price ceiling.
Diesel prices are not regulated: To stimulate competitiveness, the Department of Minerals and Energy will in future no longer publish recommended pricing.
The Fuel Directory report: the recommended fuel price per zone, and fuel stations in every zone. Participating businesses can update their competitive pricing 24/7.
