BMW SEPTEMBER 2021

Bentley achieved record sales in 2020 despite the impact of Covid-19. It delivered 11 206 in 2020, an increase 2% over 2019, and the highest sales performance in any of its 101 years. The Americas region delivered 3 035 cars, an increase of 4% on the corresponding figure for 2019, although the biggest growth was reserved for China, posting a sales increase of 48% to 2 880 cars. European sales fell 18% while sales in the UK decreased 22%.

These figures were achieved despite Bentley’s production being shut down for seven weeks beginning in March and running at a 50% output for a further nine weeks thereafter, as social distancing measures were introduced.

The launch of the Bentayga Hybrid is one of nine new models we will launch this year as we continue on our Beyond100 strategic path and our accelerated journey towards becoming a fully electrified car company by 2030.”
