Hyundai Automotive South Africa have recently published a model specific repair manual on their top selling new Tucson model. Michael Rohde, aftersales director for the group says this comprehensive training guide will now become available to all autobody collision repair companies.

Rohde went on to say that the plain fact that the newer models become ever more technical to repair correctly, coupled with the need to become more active in correct collision repair for the brand, will require a step change in the way they get the correct repair information to local body shops.

“At Hyundai we now have to refocus our efforts because of the ever growing Hyundai car parc in South Africa and to increase this model repair knowledge outside our approximately 300 approved repair network. Ultimately these cars are outside warranty periods. Our information will go to many varied collision repair companies for road accident damage,” Rohde said.

Arvarto have produced an easy to follow comprehensive Tucson manual which covers electronic strip downs of all components right from supplementary restrain systems, air bags, recommended under body sealant and glass roof replacement techniques. It basically covers everything you would ever need to know about current body repair that may need to be undertaken.
