It is amazing but every year I head off to SEMA in Las Vegas wondering how they can possibly top the event of the previous year – yet they always do!  This year was no exception with record attendees, exhibitors, cars/trucks/bikes and products, plus of course a brilliant education/conference/workshop programme not to mention the many functions to attend and celebrities to meet.

All of the major paint companies and equipment suppliers were there and the displays and booths were once again a step up from 2015. SEMA certainly is the event for the industry and one that I would not want to miss.

It is always good to catch up with old friends and to make new ones and all of the celebrities/personalities are generous with their time ‘meeting and greeting’ the thousands of fans who stand in line sometimes for quite a while to meet them.

As you will see from the photographs it is well worth attending but of course photographs and my comments cannot possibly compete with actually being there.

Do yourself a favour and add SEMA 2017 to your bucket list and I hope that I will see you there – I will be there, hopefully!

There was also a lot of other activity taking place for me with visits to the Petersen Auto Museum, Don’s Garage, Surf City Garage and the shop of Chip Foose. This was all added onto the end of the trip making it an experience to savour.
